Cookie Policy — Maison Funding
Last updated: 27/07/2026
1. Why there is no cookie banner
A consent banner is required when a website reads or writes information on your device for purposes that are not necessary to the service — advertising, profiling, or third-party analytics.
This website does neither. It uses one functional cookie for the display language, which is strictly necessary and exempt from consent. Our audience measurement writes nothing to your device and reads nothing from it, so it falls outside the consent rules altogether. There is therefore nothing for you to accept or refuse before browsing.
If we ever add an advertising or third-party tracker, a genuine consent banner will appear, with a refuse option as simple and as immediate as the accept option, and nothing will be loaded before you have agreed.
2. The only cookie we place
NEXT_LOCALE — remembers the language you are browsing in, so pages are served in the right language. Functional, strictly necessary, up to 12 months. No advertising, no profiling, no measurement.
Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security and availability purposes.
We place no advertising cookie, no social media cookie, and no third-party analytics cookie. Fonts are served from our own domain, so browsing this site sends no request to a third-party font provider.
3. Audience measurement, without cookies
We measure how the website is used, with our own tool, on our own infrastructure hosted in the European Union. We use no third-party analytics service of any kind.
For each page view and each click on a link taking you to our application platform, we record the date and time, the type of event, the page address on our site, the display language, the country provided by our hosting network, whether the device is a mobile or a desktop, the domain you came from if any, and an anonymous fingerprint of your visit, explained just below.
Nothing is written to your device and nothing is read from it. Your IP address is never stored: it is combined in memory with your browser's technical signature and a secret that changes every day, and only the resulting one-way fingerprint is kept. That fingerprint lets us count distinct visitors within a single day; because the secret changes, the same visitor produces a different fingerprint the next day, so we cannot follow you between days or across websites, and we cannot work back to your IP address. These figures are never shared with or sold to a third party, and they are kept for a maximum of 13 months.
